It totally sucks! Someone else in here made the point that #MeToo brought with it some serious (and deserved) wrath and a by-product of that was some people are going to incur more damage than their transgressions deserved. I don’t think anyone had the balls to go against the movement when it started, much less now.

This is actually something that I never thought I’d want until it was made. So often I find myself making the same Sim over and over again and I never once thought to realize I’m only getting a super small slice of the game by doing so.

This might be the thing to get me back in to the Sims! I still personally preferred

ARIZONA: Land Of Failed Californians

Irish guy loves Boston, hates San Francisco, millions SHOCKED.

I thought the same thing when he was announced to play Walt Disney in Saving Mr. Banks, and I ended up really enjoying him in that movie.

I doubt it’s a coincidence that they played “We’ll Meet Again” over the trailer - the same song over the credits at the end of Dr Strangelove, after the Doomsday Device has been triggered and the end of civilization and all surface life is night.

Usually celebrities can team up with a company without that company using it as an endorsement of every shitty thing they’ve ever done. If David Harbour did a Volkswagen ad, Volkswagen wouldn’t tweet out how he and the entire cast of Stranger Things approve of their attempts to illegally evade air pollution rules. If

I’m looking forward to seeing all the AV Club Westworld fans back again and enjoying some more amazing HBO to deconstruct.

So, industry standard then?

Dolores is back in her own body, and it’s a mystery who’s in the Hale host now.

Well if it was me and it took 30 minutes, I would have billed the full 40 hours for the week. But that's because I am a shitty person with a shitty work ethic.

Though FWIW, Bob Bradley is nonetheless a little bitch...

i’d like to think i’d handle my success more gracefully than this were i to go play basketball for the local middle school.

Yeah, the fixation on the spy premise seems weird. It was all just decoration for the jokes and had no literal impact on anything. They were, in fact, some of the worst spies in the world, for anyone paying attention.

OK, that’s a reasonable reply. I’ve no objection to the idea that Cats isn’t great - it’s the idea that it’s horribly bad that I take objection to.

Why in hell didn’t they just do this as a regular animation (or do the stupid but not horrifying cat costumes from the show)?

I would like it noted for the record that my comment should not be read as an endorsement of CATS, more a reflection of my own ability to be slightly more annoyed at mostly unearned self-righteous smugness than twee Victoriana-based whatever-the-fuck-is-going-on-in-CATS.

Given the dearth of summer sports programming, I am a bit surprised that ESPN hasn’t gotten in on televising women’s pro soccer in the past. I checked out ESPN’s 8PM ET slot for next week:

Monday: MLB (Red Sox at Rays)
Tuesday: Int’l Champions Cup (Real Madrid v Arsenal)
Wednesday: MLB (Yankees at Twins)
Thursday: The

I saw Rent a few months ago, as part of a season membership, which is the only reason I went, and I finally understood why it is so hated It really is a mishmash of a bunch of stuff that kind of makes no sense. even though a few of the songs are worth listening to, the plot of the musical is lost in the mishmash that

I think the difference is the scale relative to the viewer — Because with the stage show the cats interact with the audience, it feels like your immersed in a world where things are larger and the cats are human sized. The wide shots in particular make the cats look like shrunken down people (because they’re walking
