I think my favorite boardwalk tee, and this might’ve been in the Delaware beach area or maybe OC, Maryland, is:

I work near Nats Park and to be fair, it did look like rain was imminent at 7pm when I left. Also, the Nats can’t chance a lengthy rain delay that leaves a game up to their bullpen.

To be fair, it’s been scattered, but there’s been some surprisingly strong downbursts in the area- on my way home from work (near the Pentagon) I got caught in one that absolutely soaked me through to the bone, my umbrella gave up the ghost about 30 seconds in. From where I was, I could be at Nats park in 10 minutes…

I worked at a Tim Horton’s one summer, and that order clock drove me nuts. It felt disgustingly like a Skinner box.

A lot of fast food places time the service. If your times go up on average, management can come down on the store, the managers, and the employees. No raises, staff cuts, etc.
