What you just said is why so many people are trying to make Garrett sound like a once in a lifetime DE prospect. There are 3 days of the draft and they need eyeballs on it.

Garrett has a lot of bad film. His good film is against high school JV squads.

The funny thing about what you said is that I just watched 3 former NFL guys say Trubisky’s strength is that he’s the most NFL ready of the group. (not to say that is much of an accomplishment)

Everyone probably wants a trade down. Garrett is the single most overrated prospect in a while. Sadly, it takes a partner to trade down.

Courtney Brown had an injury riddled career and Clowney is still in the developing stages (DE is the hardest transition to the NFL, lots of technique to be learned, have to get in NFL shape, etc).

Clowney was significantly better. I can’t understand how some (I guess they have to sell the draft somehow) are saying this guy is the best DE prospect in 15 years.
