Well, how do you pronounce the capital of Kentucky? Lewisville or Louieville?

And these deflated balls always seem to turn up in winter. There are never any games in week 3 in Miami where the balls are deflated...

I’m sure this won’t be a really popular opinion around here... but this is the kind of seat that Dems need to win to turn back the House of Reps (yes, it’s a Senate seat... but the type of race is important, not the seat).

The only time anyone has ever cared about Roethlisberger deflating balls is when he raped someone.

Personally, I thought it was awesome that the Army fans got to storm the field today after their win. I mean, they had better get used to storming fields with President Trump.

JaMarcus Russell wants to get back into the NFL...

More like Mike Vanderjakt!

I wouldn’t claim Europe has it figured out when before every football match there is a ‘please stop being racist’ speech with ‘say no to racism’ signs all over.

Rams plays trying to ensure that Fisher has to work hard for his 7 wins?

Twitch Plays NFL Coach?

Those only apply in the event the committee sees those teams as basically equals.

How was he not tossed for that? Like literally at least a technical foul.

I was hoping it wouldn’t take long to find the steroid joke! Thanks.

Oh well, at least he still has organized religion.

He’s a pro at it. He’s been doing it for years.

Honestly, both are amazing.

I hope he gets into TV after football, so we can have someone to replace Emmitt Smith (who gave a great HoF speech, mind you... but his time on TV was full of ‘rice patches’).

H was kicked off the team at Florida. During Urban Meyer’s tenure.

Another, albeit minor, rule exploit happened today during the Falcons&Cardinals game where Carson Palmer (wisely) spiked the ball instead of taking a loss on a sack. The loss would have been well over 10 yards, so the penalty which results in a loss of down + 10 yard loss is a better outcome than the sack.

Unless they give them a loss of down as well, the Ravens just take a knee and end the game. But a loss of down could easily flip the field in a very unfair manner. Imagine getting the ball on the opponents 1 because of such a rule. It’s an easy field goal to make and a fairly easy TD to score.
