An yuge mistake!

Not sure of the exact proportion, but: when I was there one of my Uber drivers worked in marketing for a casino, and he said that they spend a lot of effort/money catering to high rollers, so it must be significant.

Got it. I also gather you use a mixture of Imperial and Metric units when cooking?

If the British call these “flapjacks,” then what do they call flapjacks (aka pancakes)?

Yikes. I used to think that doctors were veritable gods who knew everything and never made mistakes. The stories my ex-wife, a nurse, told me quickly shattered that illusion for me.

This is even more true for international flights. The “cheap” ones always seem to have 18 hour layovers.

Seems like every year at my physical the PSA guidelines (and, more importantly, whether or not the insurance will pay for it) change. Yes you should have it, no it’s unnecessary, or it’s recommended but a positive result doesn’t actually mean anything (?). My doctor and I get a big laugh out of it.

Singers are usually taught to cup their hands in front of their mouth to get a better idea of how they actually sound. Sometimes you’ll think you’re perfectly on pitch until you do this.

Not sure I understand the difference between getting paid once a month or twice a month. Just ignore the middle of the month paycheck until the end of the month, then process everything then.

Brought back the following nostalgic moment from when I was a wee lad:
