My fave: jetBlue allows you to pay $20 more for the next ticket class which includes a free checked bag. With the lowest class, it’s $25 for a checked bag. My company will not, under any circumstances, allow you to buy anything but the cheapest fare class. They will, however, pay for the checked bag fee.
All this says to me is that the “free memory” report is misleading.
And notorious cheapskate Ben Franklin himself recommends it!
