Slept through it every day. It woke me on day one and then I slept through it every day afterwards. Am a very deep sleeper.

The Evernote web clipper does the same thing Clearly did.
What’s ironic is once Microsoft bought it, Wunderlist actually started putting out relevant, timely updates.
You sound like a library employee. If that’s the case, hello fellow library worker! +1 to your OverDrive comment. Seriously, as a bibliophile it’s the best app on my iPad.

I must again highly suggest using your public library, if you’re lucky to have one. Free best-selling ebooks, eaudiobooks, and even (possibly) free magazines you get to keep forever. We recently got mags and when I saw I could get Mental Floss, completely free, as an OWNED and not LOANED digital copy, I could have…

Unf, that TWSBI. Someday one’ll be in my pocket... Someday...
I’ve finally, FINALLY nailed my morning routine. As someone who routinely sleeps through tornado sirens, trees falling in the road in front of my house, and earthquakes, I found that I wake up with a sun lamp on a light timer (I’m cheap) and Beck’s Cycle (from Morning Phase). It's such a peaceful song that gradually…

German (LAMY) and Japanese (Pilot) have different nib measurements. Japanese pens go waaay smaller—it’s likely the LAMY EF is close to equivalent to the Metropolitan M you have.

You should do more than superficial research on the subject. It’d do you a lot of good. The studies were worthless because they excused people from common sense. Obviously if you walk like an elephant stomping on anthills, you are gonna put more impact on your joints if you put on VFFs and don’t change your gait. But…

Your comment is pure opinion. There's no harm whatsoever in running in frees, or any minimal style shoe, unless you go out there ignorant. The human body wasn't built to be dependent on shoes - that's asinine.

Yeah... except that’s not what the lawsuit said at all. Maybe try reading it?
1) That’s a risk you run no matter the shoes you’re in. Ultramarathon runners are always in situations where this can happen. Yes, wearing Vibrams you’ve gotta be more careful, but it doesn’t make them bad shoes.
Curious if you got that 1% from anywhere or if you made it up.
That's not what the class action lawsuit settled. It settled because Vibram said the shoes can and DO do what they said they can do, but in some instances made it sound like it will do it for everyone. Some idiot who can't read managed to win against them.
Well if there’s one thing that surprised me from this study, it’s including Vivobarefoot in the affordable category. Their shoes are anywhere from $100-$250. I only own the pairs I do because the pop up on Zulily, The Clymb, and Leftlane Sports on flash sale.
I alternate between Vibrams, Vivobarefoot, and Luna Sandals. Nothing beats running with your toes free, especially in the heat. The Vibram soles are very flexible and mold to your feet, giving a custom, snug fit.
Exactly this. They lost a lawsuit because someone took their statements super literal. Every shoe manufacturer ever speaks the same language - Vibram just got nailed on it.
Why the hate on Vibrams? Like, seriously. Most runners get anywhere from 700-1000 miles out of each pair and they are durable as hell. Just because you personally seemingly have some vendetta against them doesn’t mean they’re not good shoes.
