So true! We sat in a AAA location this Spring to get two IDLs for our 2015 Euro Trip. Never had to actually use it. Hertz didn’t check it at the rental counter. Mercifully had no run-ins with law enforcement. But if we didn’t get it, someone would have asked for it. Crikey it’s the rozzers!
