Tavarish! I have a suggestion that will get zero respect, but it’s a bargain!

Forever alone? Yay!
I don’t disagree necessarily, I’m just saying at a certain point, their “wealth” will be worthless too. Money is only worth something because we think it is.
The only problem with this theory of a relentless march toward automation is that if it were really to occur and make millions of people obsolete, it would destroy the economy and there’d ultimately be no reason for anything to be automated, because nobody would be able to afford anything. Unless the end goal is to…
This. I was shocked to see the can actually be purchased for less than $20k these days. Why do we buy anything else?
Non-car people might. I had my 05 Tiburon GT (stock outward appearance besides ride-height) “mistaken” for a Tesla of all things three times and a ‘new car’ a ton of times up until I sold it in 2015. The car was debadged, rear wiper shaved, and the shark gill side vents on the fender that are normally fake and closed…
They say most millionaires drive Fords. The wealthiest person I have ever known personally drives an F-150.
Gap insurance on a financed Mercedes probably costs less than one single payment. You’d be a damn fool to forgo it.
This is why gap insurance exists, and you’d need to be wealthy or stupid not to buy it with a purchase of something like a new Mercedes, which will depriciate like a brick dropped out a window. Especially since the guy had a C300, I’m guessing he had just enough dough to lease/buy it, but is probably not of the…
I carry an extinguisher. Partially because I drive an Italian car, but mostly because you never know when you’ve going to come across a rollover or serious accident. Especially if someone is trapped, stopping a fire while it’s small could save a life.
The “conservative” position on this issue is to respect the rights of private businesses. How any “conservative” fails to see and understand that is absolutely mind-boggling. Business generally does not want any level of government interference or regulation, and at this level - a massive product and software level of…
I’ll bring the titties if you bring the kitties?
Perhaps the “whole adult life paying back student loans” thing will become a thing of the past upon the election of Hill or Bern. Both want to make it possible to refi loans at “current rates” - so taking ~ 7% loans and refinancing them at ~ 2% would make it infinitely easier for people to get them paid back. Besides…
Maybe they’re developing them to autonomous drive at very high speeds?
I hope someone shits on it again the next time he takes it into that neighborhood. It would be amazing.
My ~$20 dash cam has a motion detector and can record when the car is off. It’s not awesome but it’s enough to get a plate or a face (especially with “nightvision.” If I had the money to buy a Tesla, I’d buy one of those $400 dashcams that can do the same thing, but in 60fps full 1080HD, etc., etc.
The Ford Aspire’s stylists looked at the cars from 90's cartoon Doug and thought, “yes, that is what we need.” And lo, a greenhouse more expansive than the sheetmetal itself.
The steel used on the cars produced at Ulsan is nice stuff. For the cars built in that plant, they certainly don’t seem to skimp.
It’s an imperfect world. It would be better if the first DUI resulted in the forfeiture of one’s license and the crushing of one’s car. Because getting a DUI pretty much proves the point that you’re a stupid idiot and shouldn’t be driving, ever.
They really just need to permanently revoke the licenses of drunk drivers and crush their cars. I have zero sympathy for the kinds of selfish fucks who drive drunk. I love cars, I love booze, but they do not mix in any quantity. If you think they do, fuck you.
