Muggle brain versus Jalop brain, but he’s not wrong. I criticize the same stuff, touch screen everything, horrible gearshifts and steadily bigger and heavier “cars” since most mainstream vehicles are some sort of SUV. Don’t get me started on the dearth of inexpensive EVs in the US relative to the plethora of big heavy

People love change when it benefits them. People hate change when it’s done for its own sake.

In this case, it’s people hating shitty changes and/or change that is for no good reason

The responsible thing for Mercedes to do would be to buy it and put it in their own museum along with an exhibit where they own up to their past (via the aforementioned dozens of placards).

If he’s a sovereign, just declare war on the fucker and end it.

I like how these folks want all the perks of a governed society but none of the responsibilities. Isn’t there a patch of desert or tundra or a vacant Island we could move them to so they could be free.

Those were analysts and investors, not journalists. We were able to listen in on the livestream, but we weren’t actually on the call itself.

I listened to a YT video recording of the call. Everyone representing Tesla on the call was dropping so many metric tons of BS it was near impossible to keep up with all the false promises they will never be held accountable for. And the “journalists” from the big outlets on the call weren’t doing a thing to call him

The difference is that Ford, unlike Tesla (aka Musk), doesn’t go around yapping about their cars being able to drive themselves. Tesla owners buy into the narrative and go around thinking exactly that, regardless of which system they are using. I have first hand experience of such an owner, and I refuse to drive with

FSD: Impressive if you’re overwhelmed by confirmation bias. Terrifying if you’re a normal person.

I have a Model 3 that currently has the 30 day FSD trial.

Echo, echo:

While I genuinely feel sorry for the dumbass rube who trusted Tesla’s systems, I still place most of the blame on Tesla itself. Just like I would if Cadillac’s Supercruise did the same thing. So while it’s absolutely horrible for the victim’s family, I hope they get a massive payout or force Tesla to open their books

This is so infuriating. Fuck that guy who decided whatever bullshit was on his phone was more important than driving. And fuck techbros for their Self Driving car bullshit. I hope the family of the motorcyclist sues the crap out of them.

Oof.

Im not voting till you show me the underside.  The frames rusting out is what kills these.

Its about the use of public space for personal gain. Its a shared resource, we should use it considerately. And the littering of cars in highly visible locations adjacent to high traffic areas is not considerate. The ones that bug me the most are in “thats not a parking spot” locations. Sometimes there is a genuine

I love the people that have no contact info on the sign, usually at the end of some long rural driveway. Like I want to just walk up to some house in the country and knock on the door. That gets people shot these days.

Sounds like this isn’t about hanging a for sale sign.

Sounds to me like he was parking the vehicle in a public space for the purposes of transportation, not “for the purposes of selling it”. If that clause just had ‘sole’ in the middle of it, I’d call this a slam dunk for his lawyers, but as it stands I’d say he’s still likely to win.
