When I went to school in Detroit, they had a cop come in who specifically told us that if we didn’t feel we were in a safe area if we were getting pulled over, to hit the flashers and drive slowly to a safer, public area or the closest police station. Some of that may have been to a prevalence of imposter cops.

I feel this is one of those cases that just because it is rare, that doesn’t make it more valuable.

They either didn’t get many bites or it would have cost too much to do one way or another.  

Its like no one ever does any research into history of the very thing they are doing. 

An obviously stupid idea that is different just for the sake of being different. It would give the car a higher center of gravity, make the cabin feel cramped, and induce nausea in your passengers. I don’t see this going anywhere.
