Yep. Noah’s always a bit of a character. Last season he had a mullet for a good part of the year.

I know I am *rich. I just haven’t found a good way to announce it when qualifying my responses.

I don’t have a disco 4. I have an LR3 and a Range Rover Sport. Both bought used. 2005-2009 Land Rovers with the 4.4L Jaguar V8 are pretty much indestructible as long as you actually maintain them.

It’s too bad the 1/5 thing isn’t the case anymore. But the advice is still sound. And everyone coming in with examples where used are the same price as new completely ignore that the new model is going to have a huge wait, a huge dealer markup, or both.

No. It’s part of NASCAR and has been from the beginning. Nearly every driver in the sport has had to throw down at one point or another.

Gragson is a really cool guy actually. But he is currently rocking a bowl cut due to a lost bet.

It will eventually. NASCAR has made it pretty clear that it’s not going to get involved with on track incidents that can’t be proven intentional. Ross Chastain has been wreaking havoc for 2 straight seasons, and while super entertaining, is incredibly frustrating for his competitors that always get the short end of

Why not go with a Chrysler Pacifica? Certified Used are showing a healthy discount over new.

Don’t get me wrong. I kinda love that there are idiots out there buying new cars they can’t afford. I’m just glad it’s not me. If it weren’t for them there wouldn’t be any 2-3 year old cars to scoop up for 30-50% off MSRP.

*Rich people and the financially illiterate.

I can’t imagine when buying a new car makes sense. My family take home is >200k and I wouldn’t even consider getting a new car.

I agree with you in general. but specifically as it applies to project cars, If you are going to ask dumbass basic questions, then you WILL fail at completing your project car.
I know I’m pissing in the wind. But “Google It” and “RTFM” are the answer to 95% of questions posted on FB and Reddit.

My favorite racing game cheat was from Viper Racing (1998). The Hornball code would fire a ball out the front of the car when you honked. It was especially cool because the game had a very advanced damage model for its time.

If you find yourself at any point asking the question on facebook or reddit “what kind of oil should I use?” just go ahead and sell the project... this isn’t going to go well for you.

Eh. It’s not the state carrying out the punishment so I don’t care. I don’t think if you are arrested for stealing cats that you should be put to death...
but if you die by your own foolishness I’m not gonna shed a single tear.

I normally don’t celebrate peoples deaths... but everytime there is a story about a guy getting crushed to death because he was trying to steal a cat when a car fell on him I smile.

I think CAT theft is particularly egregious. It is incredibly costly for the car owner even if you have good insurance. There are some car

This is the exact reason I am a Nascar fan and never really got behind Indy or F1. Openwheel cars are just completely unrelatable and unrecognizable as a “car”. I know there is nothing stock about a nascar stock car, but size, weight, drive layout, handling, aero, setup are not that far removed from a real life Camaro

Sounds like a blip. not a trend. There is not much that makes sense about the 3 box layout. Trunks are such an inefficient waste of vehicle footprint. CUVs (short, slightly lifted, wagons by a new trendy name) are better in just about every way.

Yup. That’s Moonhead, the owner of the league. His announcing style is amazing.

Some really amazing races.

Another late edition I’d recommend. Dale Jr winning the iRacing MOONCAR League Talladega Race upside down.

What are you talking about? Cali has annual safety inspections and biannual smog inspections.

Also, your anecdotal evidence that you are seeing less cars broken down is more indicative of how much more reliable cars are today. It almost makes things worse that the cars engine and critical mechanical systems will

Exactly why a reputable shop would have looked at it and told you you need a new dash harness BEFORE they start diagnosing your issue. Spliced wires and aftermarket security systems = time wasted chasing gremlins.
