The film adaptation of The Big Sleep is more what I was thinking of.
I don’t think Yuri gets to leave the “bowling alley”. Ray Wise indicated that he almost wasn’t going to allow Mr. Wrench to go back.
In that paragraph, he gave the impression that he would rather be reviewing Twin Peaks and that he would be the worst possible candidate for that job.
He’s the Omniscient Narrator, which is a noir trope the Coens were definitely going for with that character.
BCBS, sorry. But I get the feeling you know exactly what I was talking about and were just being a pedantic ass, so I'm going to let my side of this conversation end here.
Kinda like how everyone stopped eating Chipotle when they got bought by McDonalds?
Again, I'm not crazy about their business practices over at ABI. But by the same token, there are some breweries they've acquired over the years I'd never have had a chance to try otherwise. Goose Island is a great example. While their heavily mass produced beers like their IPA's may have changed, their sours are…
I used to live in Asheville, NC where Wicked Weed is based and watching social media the day they got sold was INSANE.
Yeah, I knew plenty of tweakers growing up in Oklahoma that looked/acted exactly like him. I thought it was a solid performance. You're supposed to not like him.
I loved that scene and that line so much without even realizing it was Mike! I saw him in the credits and had to go back and re-watch. Just wonderful. He's really grown as an actor in 25 years.
I thought the coordinates were held by Ray, which is why he wants to be in proximity to him. Also to kill him for the attempted hit.
Yeah, I meant too old. She passes for 23-25 I think. Its a stretch, but her and the boyfriend are selling it with their acting.
I wasn't bothered by it, actually. I hardly noticed after the first episode or two.
The Simpsons managed it for the release on FX. You can choose between 4:3 and 16:9, and thank goodness because the 16:9 conversion is sloppy and ruins so many good sight gags.
I just mean maybe they did a passable conversion to 16:9 a la The Wire a few years back. For a few select scenes it wouldn't seem to be a massive undertaking or cost much money.
Why is Dougie’s wedding band in the stomach of the mysterious headless corpse?
I take it The Office (particularly the UK version) is pure torture for you.
Could have been converted in post?
One of the other guys from Dougie's insurance office also showed up at the Twin Peaks Sheriff's Dept. in episode 1 looking for Sheriff Truman, presumably trying to sell him insurance. Lucy confused the hell out of him and he left his card.
