I grew up in a small town, and if I wanted to buy games that were outside the very limited selection on offer at my local WalMart, I had to wait until we made a trip to the mall a few towns over.

I definitely remember all the hype for that. It was hands down the best wrestling game to come out at the time.
Who throws a shoe?! Honestly!
Each of their albums has been different for me. S/t and Demon Days were growers, I loved Plastic Beach instantly, and this one is somewhere in the middle. It took about a week of listening to it for it to gel for me.
I was unfamiliar with Popcaan outside of this and that Jamie xx tune. Normally I'm not a big fan of his style, but I'm intrigued by his guest spots on these 2 tracks. I'll have to go check him out.
Breath of the Wild for the 4th week running!
It actually took Plastic Beach coming out for me to fully appreciate Demon Days, if that makes sense. When it came out in 2005, I liked it just fine but didn't think it cohered all that well as an album.
I guess I was born at just the right time for Gorillaz. Clint Eastwood came on MTV when I was in 9th grade, and these guys have returned every 5 years or so to drop some brilliant new music on me ever since. Probably the most reliable band that's been around during my lifetime, which feels weird to say about something…
There's a lot. You can find it on Amazon, Spotify, Apple Music, etc if you wanna read through though.
Incorrect. I could handle about 2x as many Gorillaz articles and I consider myself very average.
This is an amazing story and I'm glad you shared both the self-serving and humiliating parts of it.
She busted out the shades from the new album cover, too. I believe she was cosplaying, which probably helped her stand out when they were picking.
No I think they were saying both that you are right and that there's also an inaccuracy in the review.
We had some pretty wild times back in Eerie, PA. This one time, we stayed up wayyyyy past midnight…
There's a place in Los Angeles called Smoke's Poutinerie that sells nothing but many, many varieties of poutine. It's pretty awesome.
Yeah, I did the desert one last. I generally avoided the desert until the end of the game, most of my last shrines were in the desert as well.
I never beat Wind Waker. All that damn sailing.
It tells you the number you've cleared on the loading screen, right below the number of Spirit Orbs you have. Additionally, ones you've found but not scanned will show as an orange marker on your map, and ones you've scanned but not completed will show as a blue outline with an orange center (matching the actual look…
To be fair, their solution for replacing them still sucks. No advance replacement option for something I literally require to use the console? Honestly I'd rather deal with it being wonky than go without for 3-5 days.
I thought I'd be done when I stormed the castle, around 40 hours in. 60 more hours and all 120 shrines later, and I still don't feel "done" with my save yet. I found a new enemy type 90 hours in!
