One of my all-time favorite albums. Ben Folds once described the band as "punk rock for sissies" and really, it couldn't be more accurate. This was in many ways my introduction to a whole other world of music.

I was on Ritalin in like 3rd grade. It wrecked my appetite (because meth) so they switched me to Adderall. Which raised my blood pressure, so they prescribed me blood pressure medicine in conjunction with it.

He's lucky he's not a vegetable for the rest of his life. My aunt stole one from my mom once, stuck it in her mouth, and that is her fate. Sad to say that compared to what happened to her sister, my mom was better off dying from it.

Sadly, I think it will be at least 4 years before they have to. And that's a big at least.

Or you think it does, and then Sampha's new album comes out and you're crying over coffee to (No One Knows Me) Like The Piano at 9am.

Thanks. It gets easier with time. Hard to believe it's pushing a decade.

Posted this below, but this is almost exactly how my mom died in 2009. How we are still allowing chronic pain patients to take this stuff in to their homes is beyond me.

This is basically exactly what killed my mom, at around the same age. Fentanyl is entirely too strong to be prescribed for take home use.

That's right around the time a friend showed me a VHS of the pilot. I managed to borrow a copy of the Season 1 DVD from another friend, and then was left hanging for several years before the first "complete" series set was released. I waited patiently for about a year for a Season 2 set before deciding to say screw it

*MASSIVE SPOILERS OBVIOUSLY*

I viewed the series in this order: Season 1>FWWM>Season 2. The reason for that is I came across the show at a time when Season 1 had been released on DVD, but season 2 had not. The first DVD hadn't sold particularly well, and at the time it was unclear if Season 2 would even see a release.

It's a little on the nose, but I had "Here Comes the Sun" as my alarm for a solid year, and its a great way to wake up every day.

AC/VC or GTFO

Yeah, this is turning things that people have needless nostalgia for into something intentionally bad and ugly. Somehow, it still works. Basically the antithesis of Girl Talk. If you liked this, I highly recommend starting with Mouth Sounds and listening to all 3 in order.

They really should just go all in and stuff it with beef and cheese. I'm gonna build my own chalupa! With black jack…and hookers! In fact, forget the chalupa!

"A few" is the highest number. That's it, fugheddaboutit

It's only my 2nd listen of Moods, but for me it is currently Moods>Sounds>Silence

I wanna fuck Milky Way, yeahhhh, yeahhhh, yeahhhh!

This. Also, GJI introduced me to Neil in the first place. So long as they keep using GJI to tell me when he does something, it gets a lifetime pass.

Like the others, it just keeps building and getting better. Just finished my first spin and already want to start it over.
