l love all of those games and have somehow not managed to get roped in by Oxenfree. I shall try once more.

I keep trying to get in to it. I've made it to the campfire on the beach scene about 3 times and just always seem to lose interest. Am I quitting right before it gets good, or is this just not for me?

The only book I read in 2016 that was released in 2016 was "Before The Fall" by Noah Hawley. LOVED IT. Picked it up based on the good review here and read it in practically one sitting.

Patton Oswalt has done a few different Cheetos bits over the years that I think probably contributed on some level.

Reading interviews with Miyamoto, Nintendo seems pretty opposed to the micro transaction model. Maybe they won't make as much on this as they projected and will change courses, but I hope not.

This is a great article. I love Wes Anderson soundtracks as much if not more than the films themselves. Like the film, there's something new to love about this soundtrack every time you revisit it.

One of the guys in River Whyless is an old friend (originally from the Asheville area, myself). I was very happy to see this album get some national press. Well-deserved!

What the hell happened to the music coverage around here? It is seriously at an all time low. I would much rather have Rabin covering music than the occasional MYOF column. Say what you will about the "pills in the jelly beans" review, dude knows his music. There is a serious lack of hip hop coverage around here.

1. A Tribe Called Quest - We Got it From Here, Thank You 4 Your Service

10. Dr. Dog -

I was under the impression that these are all albums that did NOT make the cut for the best of list, but were nonetheless well liked by at least one member of the staff. I could be wrong. If this is what we're getting in lieu of a proper best of list, then I agree this is fucking stupid. Snark be damned.

I will pay someone more talented than me to mash up "Turn Down for What" and "The Impression That I Get" (Mighty Mighty Bosstones). I heard one bleeding in to the other on the radio once, and it worked surprisingly well. Now I can't get the concept out of my head.

Interesting title on that South Park episode. As much as I've enjoyed the serialized storytelling, it has definitely started to show some flaws this season. I might welcome a return to the old format next season. Or maybe something in between, where Garrison is still president. I get the feeling Cartman won't be woke

You had them for a second, and then you over complicated things with that last bit. Let's start over from the beginning.

The company I work for would've had us working at 2.5x pay if it was during the week anyway. So having the holidays fall on my regular days off just screws me out of holiday pay.

Matt is good people!

I picked up a handful of games on Steam yesterday to soothe the pain of not owning anything I can play FFXV with.

I started replaying Minish Cap via OpenEmu this past week. Of all the Zelda games, that's actually one of my all time favorites. It's a great blend of Link to the Past and Wind Waker.

The Canadian government has apologized for Bryan Adams on numerous occasions!

He really is! It's coming in one week! Evidently he's playing like 4 shows in the northeastern US to support it, then effectively retiring from both rap and acting.

Just to be pedantic: Black on Both Sides was Mos' first solo album. I believe you mean the self titled Black Star album. Also, that wasn't necessarily one and done. They've teased further collaborations ever since, from the Chappelle's Show appearance, to that single they released in 2011, to the Aretha Franklin
