But it is no different than the WM3. Should we not be rallying for MORE of this kind of thing to happen, rather than less?

One of my all time favorite episodes, and I welled up again just reading that line.

X-MEEEEEEENNNNNNNNNNNNN

I think I may have worked for the same company. Everyone in our department just sat around waiting for customer service calls that never came, because no one used the service. I always thought it was some rich kid's scheme to see how much money he could possibly waste.

I'm telling you man, it's jobs. We gotta get the jobs. Then we get the khakis, then we get the chicks.

For actuality's sake!

No worries! Mostly my fault for not skimming the article and then coming down to discuss.

I think it's reputation as the most commonly found album in used CD bins might preclude it from ever getting a proper re-issue.

A) I was talking about Eponymous, although your comparison to the Beatles anthologies is still apt, but

The thing that really bummed me about about that: I felt like there were several deleted scenes that really did add to the overall plot of the movie that could have been cut back in, and generally made it an overall better film. I actually anticipated the release of that director's cut.

Haha. It seems like such a petty thing to argue over, but it matters to me dammit!

The phrase that ends the sentence is "visible again in this latest incarnation." I guess "audible" would have been a better choice of words, but that's certainly how I read it.

Incorrect. I owned it on DVD, and the Four Tops song is in there. What the reviewer is saying is that a lame version of "I'm a Believer" was swapped in for the VHS and this re-release.

I didn't understand the grumbling about the original version until you clarified that the Four Tops song is swapped out. That kind of change can seriously ruin a movie for me (see the Donnie Darko director's cut), and I may pass on the chance to see it in the theater.

Really excited for these REM re-releases. It feels weird to want a best-of re-release in this day and age, but Eponymous really gives you such a great overview of the IRS years, and the alternate versions of Radio Free Europe and Gardening at Night are the true versions IMO. Sure, there are a few deep cuts missing,

I'm interested. I liked Limbo well enough, but didn't quite see what the fuss was about. This seems to maintain the vibe while finding a way to also tell more of a story. I'll probably snag it once it hits Windows. Shame it'll be right after the summer sale ends.

That's the whole point. He DOES pronounce it "Earth", however most people have misremembered this as "Earf" because racism.

I was really hyped for this movie as a kid and then was bored to tears by it. I think I was young enough to be roped in by the look of him in costume and the marketing of it (I had one of those rubber figurines of him w the helmet and stuff on), but way too young to grasp what was happening on screen.

I watched the finale in the morning right before work and it put me in a really weird mood all day.

I usually think I'm going to have a fun time running through Sonic 2 again. Then I get to the Chemical Plant and I'm like "Oh, that's right. Water is awful in this game." And then I get to the Labyrinth Zone: "Alright, fuck this." Didn't even make it to Casino Night, which is best in the series IMO. But for real, fuck
