While I found myself... underwhelmed by this season and this finale (possibly due to the sheer “directness” of how plotlines were addressed), I think a lot of the worldbuilding here will pay off down the line - especially if you reframe a lot of today’s Star Wars around the concept of “clones”.

Could also be that Loki is impersonating Thor, and you’re not really seeing what you think you’re seeing...

The only story that I would be truly interested to see Disney tell outside of the “Episodes” is the story of Darth Vader, the badass - during his first 3-5 years inside the suit, at the height of his powers, hunting down Jedi at the behest of the Emperor (and perhaps losing a battle to one or two along the way).
