I just don’t understand that windshield.
I just don’t understand that windshield.
Part of me admires the brutality of it, the raw unedited and unrefined brutalism of it speaks to me.
However, the other part of me has eyes.
This truck is like something out of a movie...a low budget 80s movie taking a half ass guess as to what cars in 2020 will look like.
I thought the exact same thing. I thought he was gonna pull one of those “Oh one more thing” presentation tricks and pull off the outer shell to reveal a futuristic but aesthetically more pleasing design underneath.... but IT DIDN’T HAPPEN!
Was thst the first time he's practiced that presentation? I've seen high schoolers make better presentations. Not the good ones mind you, the ones that only really only started the project the day before.
Elon Musk is good at many things. Public speaking is not one of them. This presentation is not worse than anything else he’s done....
I actually came back to say the same. Elon Musk is not great.
I thought for sure it was a troll... and they were going to bring out the “real one”.... I’m literally shocked at how bad this is.
Every single middle class family in the United States should be able to afford one.
That is painfully attractive.
I had to scan past 21 fucking ads to get to the end of the article.
As I read way too many comments on Jalopnik, the general belief of commenters is that buying a car new is worse than killing your own children bare handed.
Ugh, don’t remind me. I would hate to count the many thousands of dollars I’ve pissed away over the years by jumping between cars. Luckily I haven’t had to finance any of them in a while, but still. The one I most regret is my 2nd gen Pathfinder that I traded in on a GMC Sierra because the Pathy couldn’t tow my boat.…
And despite your corporate overlords telling you to stick to sports, I hope Deadspin never does because
and I can’t emphasize this enough
I come to Deadspin BECAUSE YOU DON’T JUST STICK TO SPORTS
1st Gear: As much as Mitsubishi sucks I would like to point out that they have very low Bluetooth latency in their cars. I had to rent an Outlander for a week and there was zero lag between the screen of my phone and the audio through the car. It was quite amazing given the offerings from GM I was used to and…
Also, nine-to-five is pretty damn flexible. I’d kill to be able to roll in at that time and still be off to catch happy hour.
Careful what you wish for. A 21st Century 3000GT is a 300GT X-Cross and looks like a Murano.
“That original reaction by the Astros was wrong, and we own it as an organization. There were many people involved in reviewing that, approving that, and I’m not gonna get into the details of that. It was wrong, it was the Astros’ decision.”
