They definitely are. It's very easy to look at the Twilight films and say "Heh, she's only got one facial expression", but Bella as a character only has one emotion, so, y'know.
One of those rare sequels that's better than the original.
Once you go Greek, you never go breek.
mommeeeee mommeeeee a gay won one of my awards
And evo-psych. Lord, do they love evo-psych.
I know it's not uncommon, sadly, but for a TV series which still gets defended on grounds of being nonjudgmental, it's depressing. I thought nothing could out-crap Ally McBeal's bisexual episode, but the supposedly franker series managed it.
I want them in a movie about a woman who invents a time machine to go back and have sex with her younger self, but that's just me.
No it doesn't. The relationship with Keira Knightley is portrayed as being first a friendship, then a marriage of convenience. You also forget to mention the whole, prominent, continual plot strand with him being arrested for cottaging. It's much more than a couple of mentions, it's the spine of the story.
Some of those surrealist ads were much more appealing to Young Me than any overt cigarette ads could ever be, ironically. Here's a gallery of the Benson & Hedges ones - the 1990s 'crossword' campaign is the one I remember best: http://www.advertisingarchi…
I heard Jennifer Jason Leigh (Morrow's daughter) refused to meet with him for a project, which is fucking incredible if true - he thought he had a chance of casting her, after what happened?
Don't ask me how I know this, but yes, termites love the cock.
I was kind of looking forward to what Blomkamp originally promised us, which was a comedy. I don't know why the trailers have been so po-faced.
I laughed at Devin's defence of Torque. It's not a serious movie, you say? No wonder people misinterpreted it! I thought it was meant to be Berlin Alexanderplatz.
Hey there friends, it's nice to see you
Really nice to… to be here
I love your wall!
That was fascinating, partly in a "what the hell?" way, but also because the identity-shifting world of espionage seems like such a natural fit for the Cron it's a wonder he hasn't made a full-on spy movie yet.
They took what could have been a perfectly good Martin Luther King movie, and they made a big racial thing out of it!
Yeah, I can't imagine what Penn thought the viewers' thought processes should be there.
Just once, I'd like right-wingers to acknowledge they believe in identity politics every bit as much as liberals do, they're just too thick to realise it.
Repo Man's TV edit is amazing. It brought us the word "melonfarmer"!
