Anyone with 5 kids is a douchebag by definition.

The rock was probably texting and wasn’t paying attention to the cars and deserved to get driven over.

The reason given as to why they drive up on the rock are more or less the same reasons why pedestrian fatalities are up.

Nothing to worry about... Citroen, as of today, is already focused on 2020!

I sure do love a black 3rd gen viper!

The Outland plug-in is the best selling plug-in in Europe. There's . . . something there. I saw like 5 of them in Yosemite last week! They're cheap as hell and big and you can daily it in all EV mode!

Has a single person outside of BMW said they like it? I understand a company sticking by a controversial design, but this, this is not controversial, the reaction is universally bad. They better hope they backtrack before building any production units.

It’s about having a very tall guy in a very small seat behind you.

I believe the long and short of it is:

Yeah, the whole “angry indignant” tone is off here.  It’s a sensible recommendation...

Yeah, this.

Hurray! Someone else (and I also do restos + mark + label parts) that gets it! I couldn’t figure the anger. When you sell off your electric E type project 10 years from now, If I can find the left side motor mount + carb mounting bracket (and the 100's of other stupid special parts) it makes my life sooo much easier

Their statement is perfectly reasonable: what may today be a crappy worthless old car can be, in the future, a very rare historic and cultural document.

Um...what you quoted simply addresses a recommendation that people who convert to EV keep their old parts safe and well-labelled.

I would agree with this. Any resto mod is no longer an Historic Vehicle. Only cars in their substantially original condition are historic, which also knocks out lots of concours cars as far as I am concerned. Those guys haven’t found a part that they can’t chrome plate.

Between these dorks and the dipshit that wants a Karman Ghia, but also something that is automatic and reliable like a Civic, I’m not sure what to make of the readership of this site.

#3 - that’s brutal, if a brake job stings and you are taking 6 year loans, why on earth would you ever consider moving into the luxury segment where everything just costs more? Good grief some people need a swift kick in the head.

If they had to get a 6 year loan on a Kia Optima and pay it out to the last month of the loan, they might want to reconsider such a class jump for their next car.

2015 Kia Optima, took out a 6 year loan, still not paid off... wants a (slight upgrade to) new Lexus or Acura, swearing not to take out another 6 year loan... drives over 20k miles per year, but wants a luxury sedan that doesn’t lose a ton of value in 5 years.
