I have nothing to say other than I have honestly never been so ashamed to be an American as I am tonight.

I got nothing. I don’t remember when I’ve felt this awful recently. you have no idea how medicated I am and I’m still filled with so much anxiety I can’t fucking stand it. Fucking. Gary. Johnson. FUCKING. GARY. JOHNSON.
Already cried on the phone with my mom, but I can’t tell if it’s because I’m scared or so disappointed. Probably a bit of both.
YES! Thank you.
That stolen information included the murders of two journalists and the killing of over 100 civilians in an (at best) ill-considered airstrike the U.S. unsuccessfully tried to claim was a Taliban grenade attack.
Do you think improper and possibly illegal military action by a government should not be brought to light?…
I hate it when they try to help me. I want to browse and maybe indulge in some financially irresponsible impulse buys. When you make me talk to strangers many times, I get the one thing I want (or nothing at all!) and leave as quickly as possible. Genius!
In my experience as a New Yorker, the “happy customer service rep” culture is this invasive part of gentrifying culture, imported by Starbucks sometime in the 1990's. I can remember that Carnegie Deli —the most New York of New York institutions— used to make sure to give service-with-a-snarl as a matter of the…
The worst was always the random promotion/company credit card/customer survey that you would need to ask every single customer about with the exact same scripted question and response to any thing they could have said.
I worked at a Harris Teeter (South) as an adult and my best method for dealing with customers was leaving them alone if they didn’t want to be bothered.
There is no false equivalency. More than one thing can be bad at the same time. Two people can both do bad things, that doesn’t mean those two people are exactly the same.
Except I already voted for Hillary by absentee ballot because Trump represents the prospect of a Republican party abandoning their masks.
They’re both in trouble. But as a progressive, the DNC is a lot more important to me. The Republicans can go die in a fire for all I care, but dysfunction at the DNC is important and it’s been conspicuously ignored for years.
Brazile leaking the CNN debate questions, the campaign’s coordination with the Correct the Record super PAC, the Band and Gibson memos on the Clinton Foundation’s role in influence peddling, and her comments towards Wall Street? You’re living in bubble if you don’t think there’s damaging material in Poedesta’s emails.
You can’t say that here. Leaks about Hillary Clinton cheating during debates and colluding with the DNC are tainted...Trump leaks are sacrosanct.
E! truly gets the bottom of the barrel at every quarter because their entire brand is the Kardashians 1) no show will ever match its gargantuan brand as equal-level content that they can legitimately make into a themed night 2) because the Ks are not professionals, they are constantly looking for specific…
I’ve written this comment on another article about him before but here goes:
It’s the industrial revolution all over again. From the purchase of media outlets to the “if we have to do that it’ll put us out of business” mantra. (glass factories said the same thing when they banned child labor, but wouldn’t you know it, they made it work in the end)
Ugh, “gig economy.”
It’s not new, innovate, or revolutionary... just business as usual, but somehow overstepping pesky regulations and labour protection.
“His book is similarly narratively askew”
