Always wondered what would happen if a BMW had sex with a Hyundai...

Am I the only one who thought, “That’s a cool looking bike - can’t wait to burn the hell out of my legs on those pipes?”

“Do not over tighten”

My first reaction on actually seeing the dice was that this was for a specific game. I would love to know if the un-shown side is a 6 or something else, like a 3. In which case I could easily see a game come out of that where both the high and lows are equally rare but also equally devastating to get and where games

I had a ‘72 Opel GT. What I loved about that foot pump was that it was also a really easy “poor man’s” rain sensing wiper... When ever you needed it, just tap it once (activates the wiper but not the fluid). Worked and still works better than most wiper systems out there now.

Pretty nice for a Buick...

More gas holes = more fire bang.

Yeah. Other than that this is their second failure of such a bridge. So there is that. So much for comprehensive testing and evaluation.

I call BS on that... Yes, there certainly could and probably will show incompetence with the installation. But that also should have been taken into account in the design and installation procedure. I can’t count the number of things which I have to design into things to account for installation failures.

I had two (2) huge influences growing up. The first was the ‘50 Chevy pickup my dad restored (and was technically my first vehicle). The second was the 1972 Opel GT purchased for $700 and was my car until the transmission disintegrated in spectacular fashion while merging onto the highway while going to a job

I am really surprised that with all of the lawyers commenting that nobody has brought up conflict of interest. If memory serves me, Manafort, Flynn, and Gates share at least one attorney. If something one of the defendants brought up something which impeached what Gates had previously stated, then those attorneys

Uhhh... Nope. No story. The Bible is quite cool with slavery. Leviticus discusses this in great detail including all the “rules”.

There are requirements in California, and under promulgation other places, to have all lights dim by at least 50% at night, require daylight sensors, and motion detectors. These complaints are well known and attempting to be addressed by major lighting manufactuers

CRI has zero correlation to color temperature. And, in fact, CRI is a terrible measure of color rendering accuracy has been generally replaced in the lighting industry with one which compensates for over saturation of certain spectrums.

A few years ago I found myself in a “road rage” incident with another car. Not quite sure why or how it evolved, but isn’t that just how it works? We ended up merging onto a new highway and due to our escalating behavior he ended up clipping the front of my SUV trying to cut me off as I was trying to keep him from

Patrick Rothfuss’ series gives me blue books... And I won’t forget that no matter how good his adaption might be. Though, if it lasts, perhaps I might actually be able to get some satisfaction whether that is from a new book or some other writers completing what he obviously is incapable of doing.

This article is a great example of how words or terminology matters. Personally, I dislike the use of any form of autonomous in anything but the purest sense (which we do not yet have). Adding a reducing qualifier such as “semi” still leaves too much focus on the word “autonomous”.

Wait. Wut? Do you think that all of those “craftsmen” and “tradesmen” are somehow just bohemians who happened upon it? Or that a 4 year degree is somehow the Kryptonite to creativity? It would not surprise me at all to find that fine watch makers have Engineering degrees be they mechanical or in material sciences.
