Yeah. Other than that this is their second failure of such a bridge. So there is that. So much for comprehensive testing and evaluation.

I call BS on that... Yes, there certainly could and probably will show incompetence with the installation. But that also should have been taken into account in the design and installation procedure. I can’t count the number of things which I have to design into things to account for installation failures.

I had two (2) huge influences growing up. The first was the ‘50 Chevy pickup my dad restored (and was technically my first vehicle). The second was the 1972 Opel GT purchased for $700 and was my car until the transmission disintegrated in spectacular fashion while merging onto the highway while going to a job

I am really surprised that with all of the lawyers commenting that nobody has brought up conflict of interest. If memory serves me, Manafort, Flynn, and Gates share at least one attorney. If something one of the defendants brought up something which impeached what Gates had previously stated, then those attorneys

Uhhh... Nope. No story. The Bible is quite cool with slavery. Leviticus discusses this in great detail including all the “rules”.

A few years ago I found myself in a “road rage” incident with another car. Not quite sure why or how it evolved, but isn’t that just how it works? We ended up merging onto a new highway and due to our escalating behavior he ended up clipping the front of my SUV trying to cut me off as I was trying to keep him from

This article is a great example of how words or terminology matters. Personally, I dislike the use of any form of autonomous in anything but the purest sense (which we do not yet have). Adding a reducing qualifier such as “semi” still leaves too much focus on the word “autonomous”.

Wait. Wut? Do you think that all of those “craftsmen” and “tradesmen” are somehow just bohemians who happened upon it? Or that a 4 year degree is somehow the Kryptonite to creativity? It would not surprise me at all to find that fine watch makers have Engineering degrees be they mechanical or in material sciences.

Out of the grays for you!

YES!

Happens all the time man...

True story... While on summer break from college, my best friend bought a brand new Chevy PU (unlike the rest of us slackers, he actually managed a Pizza joint in HS). The day after, Colorado was hit by one of the worst hail storms in our history (1990) and the insurance company totaled the 1 day old (to him) truck.

Exactly this! The forms of the old pop-up headlights were directly the result of mass produced lamps. With LEDs, this no longer need be the case. Headlights could roll out to match the existing forms or create new and exciting ones. Why not pop-out sideways? Or maybe from semi-revealed to fully revealed?

Welcome to Droids ‘R Us... How may I help you Mr. Vader?

This! You can easily pick up a gently used luxury super-SUV for this or far less. I know, because I bought a Porsche Cayenne Turbo S with 20K on the clock for $35K less than what they want.

You wouldn’t understand...

Seems like a lift for doing a lift’s sake with no real cosmetic or functional goal. Of course it failed.

Hahahahaha! Just like my sex life!

Mmmmm... Them’s some good eatin!
