You know, it’s hard to mind it. If the value is there like with the Halo rerelease (say what you will about the multiplayer issues - four upgraded games for 60 bucks was a good deal, imho), then great.

I don’t get the Windows 8 hate. Maybe it warranted some minor annoyance due to its unintuitive interface, but unlike Vista, it was a stable OS that was exceptionally quicker than the previous version. Windows 8.1 seemed to unfuck enough of its quirkiness for most people I know, but that 8-hate endures. Everyone here…
I'm an accomplished IT professional. I have no problem making my own house payment, daycare payment, car payment, Amazon credit card payment and putting a healthy amount of money into my 401k. I'm not especially attractive either.
So you are saying that, like anything, Kickstarter can be used for both good or evil?
For some reason, my old college (Chapman University in Orange, CA) used to seat everyone in alphabetical order. Calculus, Physics, BioChemistry, O-Chem, you name it. Alphabetical order.
My ex wife left me 5 years ago for an old boyfriend of hers she re-met on Facebook. One drunken evening, we very publicly broke up (on Facebook) and un friended each other.
Couldn't have been the same Bronco that fucked up traffic in LA during that slow chase. For one, AJ Cowlings was the actual owner. Second, the car was sold to collectors not long after the chase.
Oh man, I've got a couple.
MAAAALLLLKOVIIIIIIICH!
You know. Because stress testing wouldn't really be required because the parts would be the same, just mirror imaged and...wait, you're trolling us aren't you?
They're called the Flood for a reason. You don't stand around and shoot. You move. Took me a few years to really, truly understand this.
Same shit applies to EVO or 350z or Mazdaspeed 3 drivers. If I had a dollar for every jerk who tried to get me to race him/her while driving either my STi or S60RD, whether my kids were in the car or not, I'd have at least 50 or 60 bucks.
And, at least in Colorado, if you buy a new car, they will apply the remainder of your previous registration to the new registration. Very important given how ridiculous registration fees are out here.
Word.
A little judgy isn't "judgmental". Dude's asking questions that would shed light on the discussion. Again, its stupid to think you can post an article about your divorce without expecting people to ask questions about the divorce. If he'd complained about NOT getting answers, that would be different.
In your humble opinion, it was incredibly judgmental. In my opinion, it was mildly incredulous in the tone of "wait, that sort of thing actually happens?"
The "bro" conversation happens where ever it happens. As it happens, it sometimes happens here. But I appreciate your intolerance.
stig's got nothing to be ashamed of with his curiosity. Someone writes a post about divorce IN PUBLIC, readers are entitled to ask questions. Of course no one is required to answer and they should face no judgment for it. If Stig had bitched about not getting an answer, then I'd see your point. Because he didn't and…
Good. I'm glad.
It is a touchy subject, but an important one and, as such, you shouldn't need to edit yourself for fear of offending jumpy, insecure people who internalize that shit and feel "blamed" for their own failings and failures, ongoing or in the past.
