I get you don’t want to give too much away (and lose those valuable slideshow clicks - which I avoid by making the window smaller), but it is really bad form to use the image of a car that doesn’t even show on the list. Especially since the article is about poor reliability.

Oh my god, shut up.

So, self-proclaimed non-motorcycle guy has super strong opinion about a vehicle he's never owned which happens to follow along the lines of stereotypes and now we should all care?

did you skip over the entire article that talks about this bike being 60 lbs lighter then the outgoing sportster with literally twice the hp lol. Don’t be such an ass.

Yeah, I was gonna say the same things. Cynical? Not really. Naive to say it’s cynical? Yes, definitely.

I was thrown off by this too. All this talk of 5 cylinder engines is really strange... A quick trip to the Volvo website might be necessary research before writing a story about their engines but what do I know I’m not an automotive journalist.

I find it highly amusing that you think Volvo is somehow cherished for the 4-5-6 cylinder “white block” modular engine family. Volvo is synonymous with the unkillable iron-block “red block” motors they built for 40+ years, not the relatively fragile aluminum engine family they built for about 20.

Apparently after several years of undervalued charters, the next generation car is supposed to be cheaper, so the value of charters has spiked as it is anticipated that the cost of fielding a car is now cheaper.

Just me or what, but I am utterly sick of BLACK rims.  You can only get a Mazda 3 Turbo with BLACK rims, I've seen others as well. I'm just hoping that the BLACK rims shown on the 400z aren't the only option.  Am I right??

I would be pretty pissed if I wrote in and got responses from the two slide show guys and the video game guy.

I love how the C30 looks. I do not love how they drive. Or the lack of interior space. You were better off with the GTI.

I recently invested in a couple of Thermoworks products. Pricey, yes. But the gold standard in food thermometers.

Google whatever you want to cook with the term “Kenji” in front of it. He’s done all the leg work for you.

I still think this is the best car design of the last decade.  I'm still heartbroken that it wasn't built.

If this is true (IF), I would be very happy with a Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo.

Your take is that a man most of us mistake for Michael McDonald and was saved from being yacht rock by Chevy car commercials is top 40 but Bruce Springsteen who’s songs were covered by the number 1 musician on the same list is the most overrated musician of all time. Username checks out.

Bob Seager- the Bruce of Michigan

Ironically, places like Jalopnik are full of commenters shitting on people buying mediocre premium vehicles for the label. And yet, when a non premium brand makes something expensive-they shit on that too. Don’t you love the internet?

Can you reeeaaallllyy get a decently equipped X3 or Q5 for the same money? And if you do, you’re getting the 4 banger-not the 6 cylinder-and none of the goodies that make a luxury car with owning.

Honestly, I kind of want my E63 wagon to be so fast it sheds parts. You could just recess like 10 spoilers and have them pop up like sharks teeth when I tear one off while reminding a pleb of his proper station in life.
