I read it. It's quite good. I grew up in Highland Beach so I grew up with a few people with this mentality. It's interesting to see where it stemmed from and how its still applicable.

I've had good experiences with old people. I had one lady who would come in for 5$ desserts and leave a 20. She was wonderful and made my evenings.

True, we probably did head to the table with a less than enthusiastic attitude, but waitresses are also pretty good actors, so I'm not sure I'd be able to tell...and there's a difference between asking for what you want and flipping over your extra garlic being put on the side of the plate and not carried separately…

My experience was, generally women were worse customers. Feed the men in a speedy fashion and they were pretty content.
