That explains crop circles ;)
what if they already have...
they would be much better, the compress the air so the engine still gets a good amount of it. I drove up to Breckenridge Colorado once ina 3/4 ton silverado, with a base N/A 350, it was so horrible.. my god, it wasn’t a fast truck to begin with but fuck it could barley get up some of the roads..and that was with out a…
You take that back.. chrome can make a cheap car look like classy car. (See my old buick LeSabre..well you can’t really I dont have a piture of it, but it was AMAZING to look at when the sun mad the chrome blind you ;) )
Maybe sony will make the decision based on the new xbox sales. I think they could make both, one with a disc and one with out. give it a year and then discontinue which ever has the lesser sales.
I felt it was needed to for clarity, to help put into perspective the point you where making. May be I worded my post in a way that didn’t convey that.
I would love to see Kevin and Jason cameo in Stan Lee’s place from now.
dont forget the mastadon arms.
I could legit see them skip PS9 and bring out PS-X just to avoid that potential legal mess.
does any one make a $10,000 CPU? (googled) yes the Xeon E7-8894 v4 server-grade CPU is just a tick under $10K. but knowing server CPUs its not optimized for any kind of gaming tasks. its designed for stability and data integrity.
using AMD Ryzen and Navi based hardware it will no harder to program for than any other system. Its damn near a standard PC at this point. The will probably even use the Vulkan api for the graphics.
as complex as that damn cell processor was, I dont know that any x86-64 CPU can ever emulate it faithfully.
Sledgewell never said it was hardware limited, just that (insert correct gender pronoun) would like to see modding supported irregardless of the graphics capability.
a 500 GB samsung EVO 860 SSD on the SATA interface retails for about 80 bucks. Granted you can get much larger mechanical drives for that money, but you would give up SO much speed.. Sony could probably get that cost down to 50 $ or less. I’m willing to bet though with that speed its either a m.2 drive or soldered…
optimazion of the OS to use the CPU to its fullest. they are using an 8 core Ryzen 3 base, that puts it in line with intels best (theoryetically) CPUs currently. Ryzen is q very capable system. I mean hell, I run Destiny 2 with a core 2 q6600, a Geforce 550Ti, and 8 gigs of DDR2 RAM, loading it from an external HDD…
3rd gen ryzen isnt out yet.. its coming really soon though. May I think. They will probably milk that core for at least 2 years or so before a 4th gen comes out.
Yea Sega tried that with the Dreamcast, every one just watied for the PS2. I still maintain the dreamcast was the better console. I loved my dreamcast.
They also had various models below them that could do most of the same things for a fraction of the cost. They work more like a car manufacturer, yea ford has the 100K$ GT, but 90 percent of the customers by the 40K crossover or mustang GT.
lets asume, that even at 15 $ per drive they ship 150,000 units. thats 2,225,000 $ in saved money. You cant look at it on a per console basis, its the amount of money saved total vs the amount of money that could be made or lost by not having sales of discs. and more and more with the push to digital, the disc drive…
