when me and my wife were first together I had a higher score than her, and a longer credit history. I got turned down for a credit card that she got approved for. so yea, I have no faith in the credit system.

I worked at MCD when mimum was 5.15 too ^_^ I got hired at 5.50 though. I left that for walmart at 6.25 lol. I left walmart 13 years later for a nice office job at a college. m-f 8-5 and paid holidays =)

having worked at walmart my self, I’m not sure how you didn’t get fired. I’ve seen people terminated for a lot less.

I’m willing to bet a MCD manager has no training out side of how to do inventory and scheduling. most MCD are independently owned and operated. They are franchises.

my wife works for Walgreens, I agree with the bad company concept. I worked for walmart and I was treated better. (wife is looking for other jobs, our town is just small and sucks.)

Its not uncommon if you start in the middle of pay cycle. My first job I didn’t get a check until after 3 weeks. It makes a nice first check, but the wait is killer. (there are also jobs that do pay monthly.)
