I do remember somthing about that, did the PS1 have a separate audio output from the combo R/W/Y cable? I dont think it did, I had mine hooked to my sony stereo (and its 350 watts of thump)

honestly it was probably cheaper to buy  shit ton of 16gb chips.  Also if you know you are going to push the limit of 8GB its safer to move up to 16 for overhead reasons.

If ever there was an RPG that needs a modern remaster/reboot it is Legend of Legaia easily my favorite RPG from that era, followed by Parasite Eve.

Parapa was one of the first PSX games I remember, it was out well before dual shock was a thing IIRC. it was all just the T S O X buttons. maybe the Dpad, its been .. 20 years? jesus ... I’ve gotten old.

except they won the blu-ray vs HD-DVD war..

ebay search playstation 1 for parts. plenty of dead PS1s that can be gutted and modded to house a Rpi and USB ports etc. many of them are going for like 10-20 bucks.(plus shipping so more like 30.. my argument is falling apart now.. maybe.. time to go parts shopping I have new project in mind...

they could easily just say: Damn it Barry! or the Legends could be blamed.
