Every time I get in the beer and eBay search Honda Odessey to fulfill my 80s childhood dream an exceptional minivan with very convenient features pops up and reminds me I’m a 37 year old with 2 kids. Like how can the Internet screw me so bad. Then I try to get back at eBay and search Honda Pilot for the 400cc liquid…
That’s what I was expecting the article to be about. The irony in Krokodil is that the opioid (desomorphine) that the junkies are trying bodge out of codeine and whatever else is laying around is actually one of the safest ones, it’s all the contaminants and byproducts they end up making in the batch (which they don’t…
I have a very strong stomach. I watch a lot of crime drama, and medical drama so I’m pretty blunted to gross biology. I nearly threw up watching the Krokodil docs. The way the body is destroyed...Holy shit. And the hopelessness. That was what was really sad. One dude was like, “Yeah, I owe money to the mob I can’t…
Oh yeah I’m sure that’s also a huge problem, because what are you gonna do if you can’t find or afford any H? Your gonna shoot straight poison into your arms, that’s what!
There’s also prescription pain killers. The pictures you mention are gruesome but not all damage drugs make is visible.
Yeah - that is pretty rough stuff. Pretty much assured death in short, painful fashion .... but cheaper than heroin
Exactly as Putin wants it. Confusion, disruption, distrust all play into making a populace coercible to do as you please, though a far more volatile cocktail than television brews...
I watched a short 5 min documentary on Krodokil. That shit haunted me even in my sleep.
Sorry, had to be done
As someone who is taking Geology100...
Sadly I’ve to admit, things like this make me miss the South.
Your post reminded me about the supposed DOHC superiority that has always bothered me. Unless you’re displacement constrained, such as taxes or racing organization rules, there’s not much argument in favor of it for V-configuration engines. (Inline engines don’t get the same amount of size and weight benefit.)
Top Gear Series 15, Episode 2 (BMW e36 vs Mercy Berky 190) will have another say in that. Poor James....
Is this a Canadian thing?
Damn! Cherokee floated for a lot longer than I expected....
It’s not like he was driving an old Mercury with a Cessna airplane engine in it.
This has me wondering. Would there be a benefit to adding several selectable gear ratios?
this guy sounds like an awesome neighbor, I’m not sure what their issue is other than maybe noise? I know you get enough people working on stuff at night it can get to be a ruckus of good cheer and fun.
I’m not a car guy whatsoever. I came here from Gizmodo.
