Thanks, but I'll stick with my flying guillotine.

I'm all for ingenuity and DIY, but this... completely pointless.

@enderx: As much as I applaud your inclination to volunteer at a shelter, I believe that a shelter is probably the worst place to recognize the impact that moving has on cats, since the shelter experience is stressful enough that you're not getting a baseline emotional state to work with.

@enderx: About to die? Where's that coming from? Outdoor cats have the exact same territories as indoor cats. It may look like they're all over the place, but in reality, they have boundaries that they confine themselves to. If you take an outdoor cat and drive it a few miles away, it's going to be just as freaked

@LessthanZach: Sorry, but cat's don't 'enjoy exploring' alien worlds. Do some research. They're not wired that way. This isn't a Disney film :) Cats are very different than humans. Moving them outside of their home territory is incredibly stressful.

@Shivaz: Fair enough... maybe traumatizing might not be the best choice of words here, especially since cats seem to be resilient to short term stress such as this.

@enderx: Ummm... outdoor cats create territories just like indoor cats.

@visionep: Who said I owned a cat?

It blows my mind how many cat owners there are that have absolutely no concept of cat psychology. Cats are incredibly territorial. They define themselves through their territory- through the scent that they rub on their surroundings. Taking that away isn't mean, it's abusive. It would be like taking 100 human

This really needed to be at least two articles- one for gamers and one for non gamers. My non gaming OS partition is 10 gb now and probably won't exceed 16 for at least 3 years.

Every time I drink, even if it's just a couple beers, I get about two hours of warm pleasant feelings and about 24 hours of feeling like shit. Insomnia, restless legs, irritability, dehydration and headaches. I pay many many times for a few brief moments of pleasure.

I just moved small particles 10 feet with a sneeze.

@James: This may sound counter intuitive, but I think that, had the watermelon been going slower, it might not have broken apart so easily and thus done more damage- kind of like karate chopping a board slowly vs. quickly.

@blehbleh13: Bawdy wench, thou midst have a concussion.

@Cochese: Tanooki Suit Epic: Wow, that's impressive. Why is your photo so crisp while the DVD laser lens efforts previously posted (by Hellskitchen) are so blurry?

The microscopes they use in high schools are relatively cheap and, if I can recall, a lot more powerful than this. Can a phone camera be attached to one of those?
