The cramps vs. ballshot thing is silly. I'm not saying one is worse, but the kind of agony is different, as far as I've heard.

Is this supposed to be a hot take?
Of course not, dumbass, "The kid fit the description, so he violently resisted arrest and the officer was justified when he shot the kid" is going to be the excuse.
He's right about Husker Du.
You're right.
The old 'No True Scotsman', eh?
Nah, my burner handle is better than that. But thanks.
I'm glad that you wrote that, because it needs pointing out, but I doubt that, were she a doctor (and the story got press attention...), the headlines would read, "Doctor brutally assaulted by scumfuck MMA shitbag War Machine".
I should clarify that I didn't think that Audrey Hepburn was a possible reference point, I'm not a 'fashion' person, so that was the first 'icon' who came to mind.
My thoughts exactly.
"the over-accessorized (and often under-confident) ilk"
Goddam, can a black woman just 'channel' the fucking something of fucking Audrey Hepburn for once?
Just because it's necessary for the functioning of a football team (or a fucking water polo team) doesn't make it right. And that's really back to the key thing: why the fuck is a school so focused on the football team that they give the players special privileges not available to the average student? Why is practice…
Not a MOBA player, but your statement is just generally wrong. Your fun isn't my fun isn't everyone else's fun; plenty of people like playing for stakes.
...
They're not 'letting themselves be used', they (or, at least, a select set) are raking in a shit ton of money being the minor league.
I'm glad someone said that, I'd forgotten how goddamn aggravating it was to see my school's swimmers, golfers, track athletes and whatever else get priority registration for classes, laundry service, separate gym facilities, and a free ride (at cost to the rest of the student body) without providing anything in…
But that's just the point. Now, a school that wants to be competitive is going to offer prospective stars a salary, which will create a market for college athletic talent, which will allow athletes to take a cut of the profits their work generates.
To be fair, that is a pretty great photo.
Oh bullshit. It's undeniably more dangerous than driving 60. I'm not saying it's evil, but it's fucking blatantly more dangerous.
