He and Grant Hill are the two I'd like to re-roll. T-Mac in particular was the best guard of his era, and it stinks that he never had a real shot. He dragged some really rank teams to the playoffs, and when he finally had a real team he was damaged.

Eh, can the lot of them and poach Charles, Ernie and Kenny. AND BRING BACK FUCKING CHRIS WEBBER, BECAUSE EVERYONE IN THE WORLD LOVES WEBBER.

Just looked it up, the trade was for Chris Wilcox, Joe (FUCKING) Smith, and the rights to Devon Hardin.

Hah, OKC passing on him because of a bad medical exam. Holy hell, if they'd had him they would've avoided the Perkins deal... That would've been nuts.

We'll always have that Kings team. Fuck, Adelman deserved a ring so much. Hell, even the year the Rockets took the Lakers to 7 in the first round without T-mac or Yao...

Yes, because MJ played in a weaker league.

I really don't get it. I mean, I know not everyone cares about the NBA, and maybe NBA posts don't bring the clicks that hockey recaps do, but there's a ton of regular season baseball crap, and they play like 160 games before the playoffs. This is the fucking NBA finals, there's thousands of great gifs out there, and

Eh, I like Russell as a counter to Jordan, but the fact (in both cases) is that the game advances past the previous highs. Shaq and Duncan would've dominated like Russell if they'd played back then, just like Lebron could've whupped on the 90's like Jordan.

Uh... have you heard of the modern-day GOAT, my man Robert 'Count the Ringzzzzz' Horry?

Eh, they've relied on a model that lets them down after a few years. It's too difficult to replace your vets after 2 years, so you're going to get stuck with an extra year of Allen/Battier/Miller when they're really in decline.

It's fucking silly. Nobody ever wants to deal with this, but Jordan's Bulls wouldn't win 6/6 today. Players are better all-around than they were 20 years ago. They're stronger, better trained, better shooters, and faster for their size than they were back in Jordan's era (which, come the fuck on, was weak).

Eh... there's a Spurs era, though. They've (effectively) won 50 games since Duncan arrived. That's unmatched.

And Kevin McHale!

I've got to quibble with that too, Augustin was surprisingly good when he was in Charlotte and then had an awful year.

Chandler was awesome over that run, though, to your point, it took me a while to remember that the other key players were Marion (who was solid), Barea, Terry, and DeShawn Stevenson.

Eh, Thibodeau's never run a decent offense, and he wears his starters down too much.

But the Crown Vic was so easy to ID because I'd been trained since I was 5 to recognize those headlights/taillights, and it was also perfect, because you'd never see a civvy Crown Vic on the highway.

Nah, crab dribble's only worth an extra step-hop thing.

Not to mention the traveling violations that nobody seems to call anymore. I see these guys run like 5 steps without a dribble.

Because she's fucking anecdata.
