Put that in black and white, make it grainy, and you have the death-causing video for the Thai version of "The Ring."

@Rhodesy: A loooong time, Dad.

@MissBrittleBones: Disagree. I still love (and wear) the clothes I purchased specifically for my mom's funeral. I picked things she would have liked.

@screwy: I wore navy to my mom's visitation and black to the funeral. Talbot's basics I still wear. Of course, I had a couple of months to shop as we knew she was dying.

I work at a university and am wearing a purple shirt today. Haven't seen anyone else, though.

@ifes: Jebus.

Doesn't look nearly as cool as it did in Trainspotting.

@CassandraSays: Killed my mom, too, and I've already had it. I do NOT look cutesy without clothes. It's a bitch before you're 4o, too.

@GoldenEel: Hearted for the nun. Priceless.

@introverted_innovator: I discovered hiking and skiing when I moved to a new state. I still care about how much I weigh and I'm thrilled that I'm losing, but the point for me now are the activities I love. Not so much how I look. It's a happy place to be.

I will now fantasize about Friday the 13th for the rest of the afternoon.

Spank me, Daddy! Spank me!

@deeemer: I'm Jewish. And no fan of the the Ultra-Orthodox.

@Laulau: That's true. I forgot about the "holier than thou" prohibition. But Ultra-Orthodox seem to violate that on a minute-by-minute basis.

@psybab: There was a cult in the 70's that used the "deepest, darkest secrets" schtick. And, um, telling your mom??? Not cool at all.

I am a Theo and Anne et Valentin woman. Expensive, yes. But they adorn my face every single day, and are well worth it. I experiment with shape, color and material.

I had a fab bikini body for a time. Huge tits, teeny waist, nice hips. My first disillusionment was when my mom told me that she used to wear the same bra size I did (34 C and I was 5'2" and she was 5'4"). I thought her tits made her look like a cow. I couldn't help but envision what I would look like apres kids.

@kerry: And have a bottle of their best Blue Nun.
