@no atlantis is too underwater or fictional: But it must be Good Charlotte if it's My Immortal!
@vickelchen: It usually doesn't with breast cancer. @hausfrau: My mom's breast cancer went to her brain. She was pretty looney for the last 3 weeks. Still sweet-natured, though.
Just to clarify because Elizabeth Edwards was a little misleading: The cancer will not go reaching into her brain from her skull, but it will certainly "migrate" there unless she dies first. Skull mets are still bone mets, not brain or solid organ mets.
@trustfundhipsters: Almond oil. No alcohol, unlike the vast, vast majority of lotions.
No a/c on all afternoon. Ah, the glories of New Mexico! (In more-than-stark contrast with summer in Houston.)
@justalittlebit: Not quite on topic but...I've actually put myself in a quandry with my current reading. At the same time I have in progress: The Pregnant Widow and House of Meeting (Martin Amis), Z, and The Passage. A glorious overabundance.
@Sputnik_Sweetheart: My legs are so hairy that critters are moving in. Bobcats and bears living in the underbrush.
@collegelemur: My brothers had them and I was jealous. No chemistry set for me, either. I would have made acid and played Disabled Barbie. But then, my Barbies had abortions, too. I used that Vampire Blood that comes in a tube.
Of course, Esther went in to see her husband without being summoned (which was expressly verboten). Not exactly a submissive thing to do, and one that could have gotten her killed. Not a good role model for evangelicals, methinks.
@Dancingfrog: I agree. This woman was nauseated by the smell. She didn't have a respiratory reaction. That makes it a sensitivity and not an allergy. A distinction with a difference.
@RaeBeta: It's not a disability. It is a sensitivity. Those are two vastly different things. A disability is a physical or mental impairment that substantially limits a major life activity. Scent-sensitivity does not meet that criteria.
@The Gays Have It: And he has her property and restricting her access to it. This idiot should never get a license in any country.
@la.donna.pietra: I am now aspiring to not be 5'2", and post-mastectomy.
