The high road is a lie.
The high road is a lie.
Thank you so much for this. You put something into words that I never could, but needed to.
Right, but people do whatever when they think they know best. I have a few family members that like to do that.
Ok, I'm in the dark because public radio, podcasts, and MP3s have control of my ears.
She thought it's a gospel song? I've never listened to the song.
I'm so sorry, they pulled that with you. My stuck up aunt something similar to me five/six years ago and I don't talk to her anymore
What if the couple in question doesn't give a good god damn about an overly expensive kitchen appliance they may rarely use?
Some people just want to yank any old thing off a store shelf(or the floor of their closet) and act like they went that extra mile. So they get really uptight about being asked to do something other than what they want to do.
Fresh...no, I don't have more to contribute.
Good singing just isn't valued. Part of it comes from pop singers that can't carry a tune in a bucket. Part of it froms from genes of music where all you have to do is get the words out. Anything else is considered oversinging, shouting, of karaoke.
A) I got distracted by the guy that was mouthing the words while he was dancing.
I feel real dumb right now because I'm a fan of hers, but this is the first time I've herd the pickle juice rant. I wish more famous women would identify as feminist, but I understand they're taking a big risk by doing so. Beyounce' got hell for calling herself a feminist, but not being the right kind of feminist. …
Haribo already did it sorry.
That's the plan my brother and I have.
There's a Black Panther comic where all of this happens.
I'm downright happy for her and I hope she has a great support system around her and her kids.
Hell yes! I love this song. People thought I was taking crazy pills when I talked about this song.
I would have "stole" that watch.
Too amazing. I'm kind of glad Ledisi didn't sing last night because a large part of the TV audience doesn't have the chops to listen to a singer like her. I don't want to hear a bunch of snarky peons complain about "warbling".
Please go on and on. I'm an R&B witness.
