If you play it together beginning to end, then both players played and finished it. The only issue I can think of is achievements at that point, which seems fairly minor.

Why did you ask this question:
All AI’s go through rampancy, Cortana just happened to go through it at the right time when she could do the most damage. Your argument suggests destroying all AI’s right upon their creation.
Right, like humans too, they’re essentially just AI’s in meat suits. Why worry about anyone’s life?
This wasn’t a twist though. Like, it was never a secret that she wasn’t another Cortana. People who didn’t play Halo were like, what’s up with Cortana, and people who played before were like, ‘She’s likely some backup or new Cortana copy or something.’
What?
“But, look, this entire conversation misses the key point: Halo has never been about this stuff.”
Yes! Has all content up through the end, and a little more. Some not yet finished stuff was implemented, and some homebrew things have been added as well. ‘Homecoming’ is the most popular revival of it.
City of heroes is fantastic and only got better after Jack Emmert left. His other MMOs - Champions, DC Universe, Star Trek Online have all left me pretty unsatisfied. I want to be excited for this, but I am worried.
Your point is that people should have anticipated that they would try to innovate instead of going with the cheap and easier approach of going with what works?
Right idea, wrong target. FOMO doesn’t apply to this game, the pass is always available.
You could have told me that Amouranth was the name, and DrDisrespectful was the handle, and I would have believed you. Is that also gross, or does that just indicate I have little information about twitch and no reason to not believe you?
The following level, the picture of you together, where it’s allowed to go, and where the thumbtacks are placed if you put it on the board were such a wonderful bit of subtle storytelling.

I played Destiny 2 when it first came out. Loved the intro beats, but got distracted and never came back. Finally decided to try it again last week and found that the opening is now just a copy paste of Destiny 1's intro? Some super generic content and an incredibly boring NPC are introduced. I couldn’t believe what…
I really wish companies did copy more really good systems to iterate on. Like where’s all my nemesis system clones from Shadow of War!?
How about letting regen remove credit on a first in - first out basis? I deal 50% of health/shields, you deal 25%, they heal for back up to half health, and then a third party kills them.
I get 25% of the credit, you get 25%, and the 3rd party gets 50%.
