Thank you for your response! I definitely agree, they’d be well within their rights to take it down. I just meant they didn’t specifically have to do so in order to not lose the right to enforce the copyright later.

I am by no means a lawyer, so my thoughts could totally be thrown out the airlock, but I thought companies had to protect Trademarks not copyright to maintain control.

I think the mistake is people think they’re buying an early access game. There’s no such thing. You can donate money in order to help fund a cool looking project, in return you can even play it while they work on it!

When they were talking multiplayer awhile back, I was really hoping for 4 player co-op, with the other players taking over Prompto, Ignis, and Gladio.

Wouldn’t superheroes be Neutral Good, for the most part? They ignore the law, sometimes following, sometimes breaking, in order to take down the bad guy. They become illegal vigilantes because the law doesn’t go far enough.
