I think the R.o.W. Triton would sell well here in North America, it is a really great truck that isnt trying to be some kind of luxury palace.
I commented on the other article: https://jalopnik.com/1834364510

I borrowed a 4th gen Triton 4x4 with the 3.2 turbo diesel and drove all over South Africa. It was fairly basic but comfortable.

I road in a 5th gen (pre facelift) with their new all aluminum 2.4 turbo diesel and it was leaps and bounds ahead in terms of nvh, fit and finish and responsiveness. I was so impressed

Sad, the grmn version looks amazing

Ah I forgot about the Dino

Now playing

The smaller displacement models are really a treat

uh the VQ is one of THE BEST sounding V6s alongside the Audi 30 valve (ie. 2.7 turbo), Alfa Busso V6 and Jag AJ v6.  Honorable mentions to the vr6 as its kinda a half-breed and the old v6 Detroit Diesels for being the best sounding oil burners.

but why even have such a long hood? just for ascetics because thats what people expect a pickup to look like?

Hyundai design seems to be hit or miss. The 6th generation was not really to my liking but the 7th gen (pre facelift) was significantly better looking. This is 8th gen look awful to me. I just hope that this new generation gets rid of that god-forsaken theta II engine once and for all

Any old Lexus suv

I can’t believe its taken them this long to do this. Since I discovered the Alphard, I’ve thought Toyota could just rebrand it as a Lexus and sell it in other markets

interesting

Fairly attractive design. I say, the more manufactures/brand choices, the better.

I wonder if this means just taking the already existing updated design sold elsewhere and building it in North America

uhhh, I hate to break it to you but...

Facelifted CC looks better imo

I personally think the front seat experience (seats, dash styling, touch screen and physical buttons) are great. my personal favourite feature is this:

Mitsubishi Starion

This is awesome

Take 918 powertrain + bigger battery, stick in lwb panamera,

glad I’m not the only one who thought that
