EW! I am a fan of the recent Korean designs but this is just so wrong. The tail lights are just honda civic lights with an added reflector across the trunk and that line running from the a pillar down to the light is all wrong! The chome isnt doing it any favours in general

Didn’t volvo start using this air injection antilag on their turbo diesels?

Not even the slightest clue

never really understood why hybrid cars had to scream “ I AM DIFFERENT” .But thankfully a lot of manufactures have realized this and have been producing normal looking hybrids for some years, even if it is alongside the awful spaceships.

Could easily be sold as a Lexus in North America.

In my town they have actually encouraged this behaviour by making the right lane stop about a foot shorter than the other lanes at the intersection. Here is a pic from google maps to illustrate what I am talking about:

I thought the whole idea of the Prius rear was to be a kammback. Surely all that added weight negates any aerodynamic efficiency

one of those Euro-market Daewoo-Chevrolets we never get in the U.S.”

wait? You guys don’t get Daewoo designed chevys? Canada certainly has a load of them! The Chevy Epica was an awkward sedan that has a transverse I6 - only some odd ball guys bought those just because it wasnt a Malibu ..I guess. But the Aveo/Sonic,

Its a good car that can double that milage, but not for that price.

The interior reminds me of a new Volvo, and thats a good thing.

Rav4 v6?

FYI, SAAB still owns the rights to their name and NEVS just owns the vehicle tooling and designs from Saab Automobile. No cars are manufactured in Sweden by the brand and none are called Saabs.

There is a chinese company around the corner from my house that will scan your car floor and make a custom set of mats similar to these for not that much $$. Iv also seen various similar options (but with questionable quality) on ebay.

As much as the vr6 can be cool, it's just not THIS vr6 in this body. Mk4 tdi or 1.8t would be a better deal to pick up for nothing, lightly tune and drive it into the ground.

Id hardly say it’s forgotten given the number of them on the roads; I see them all over!

The 90s Toyota Soarer came first and was rebadged for North America as the Lexus SC. The platform was then developed a bit into the Supra. Since Lexus is just a subrand of Toyota for specific markets, there is no fault here.

To be fair to the brz, it’s a Subaru engine with Toyota direct injection and I believe the same transmission from the old Lexus is/altezza. Toyota owns 10% of Subaru and funded a lot of the development done by Subaru.

Would you b surprised if i told you that Kia has been doing the same thing on its vehicles for a few years?

wait, if its built in Austria, then why is its vin starting with a W, which is reserved for (west) german built vehicles instead of V* ?

Now playing

While the v8 might not have been the most competitive, it sounded nice :
