Urk. *calls to coworkers* Hey guys? Go on without me, I'm skipping lunch today.

Agreed. My gf would do this all the time. Now that I made her buy a manual, (thus making her realize she's a pilot, not a passenger,) she's terrified of anyone on the phone and never uses hers while driving.

Your pic is exactly what scares the poop out of me, whether on the bicycle I ride, or the motorcycle I want. Hell, driving the Jeep with the top down is scary enough for me these days... (Related: Why's the damn grill on a Tundra or F150 so TALL?!)

How about 3? :D

There's plenty of room, although there's apparently an Audi-style trick where you remove the rad and condenser, and just slide the whole mess out the front of the car. Smart: get a trans jack and use it. Stupid, but works: be able to bench the trans and have some friends help so there's a slightly lesser risk of

Thanks! I'm just sad I couldn't fit my head in the scoop with the hood closed.

Don't know what to tell you guys. I may just be serially lucky, but Subies really are my favorite cars to work on. Manifold came off in half an hour, 1-1.5hr to get it all buttoned back up.

We didn't pull it off? At least not for a clutch job... Though in other work I've never had trouble pulling the manifold. Just kept an eye on what went where.

Disagree with the clutch one. In my garage, (no lift, only jackstands,) I've changed clutch on:

<3 click for that, sir. Also, very strongly agree!

The one in red hitching up his dress to run was priceless. Gonna make me giggle for days...

See my above comment to @mingoesbueno. They're around and legal, just have to keep a sharp eye out for a good deal.

Is this good enough? Only the owner asked if I wanted to make an offer when I asked to snap the pic... (Chicago, 2009)

Uhm... Uhm... Uhm... I love you? I've actually been keeping an eye out for a used Scorpion to "restomod" into an 037. The biggest stumbling block I see is sourcing the hood/bumper/fender and clamshell hatch body pieces. (Lights, grill, trim pieces and all that are "easy" enough to find.)

Kinda thought the little girl was the best part. She's in a business district, wearing a tutu and holding daddy's hand. The level of society where she lives wants her to be a good little princess/ballerina, and so with that, the car starts turning pink...

Sometimes I wish I could "favorite" comments. This is one of those times.

It's later, and I'm giving many thanks. You, sir, win at everything.

You're not the only one. First thing I did on the 458 configurator was cream paint, saddleback (or whatever you call it) interior, dark wheels, red calipers. Uhnf, what a gorgeous and clean color scheme...

I agree especially with your last paragraph, if only because a replacement screen off Amazon is under $20. Paying $100/mo for service, but unwilling to skip Starbucks for a few days?

Yeah, just like those plebes with their silly car insurance. If you can't pay out of pocket for any accidents, you obviously can't afford a car.
