I’ve gotten a lot of heat from Internet wrestling fans about this, but John Cena has put over more midcard talent, cleanly, than literally any other top guy in the company’s history. More than Hogan (lol), Austin, Rock, Bret, Shawn, HHH, Taker, A N Y O N E.

He also whispered “You’re a proper champion now” to Bray when Bray got the pin to retain. The idea that Cena refuses to put guys over is one that has long passed, he’s not HHH who couldn’t even let Sting have one win at WM since lolwcw.

Join the rest of us in actually liking John Cena now. It’s a lot easier, and some questionable booking aside, he’s been pretty consistently great for the past 4+ years running.

This kind of thing is why its completely impossible for me to hate John Cena as much as I want to.

My inclination is that this was supposed to be Nak’s reverse exploder and either they a) didn’t get enough on the initial jump, b) Nak didn’t give Cena enough of a push with his right arm, or c) Cena tried to take is as a back bump instead of a front bump.
