The "Build something that stops them" part has always been kind of tough where neutrinos are concerned...

Maybe. And it's consistent with the Many-Worlds interpretation of Quantum Physics, but nobody can yet say either of those with certainty, either.

Unfortunately, this still means that in effect you have to say to some fairly conservative people that their children are going to have sex one day...and yes, it may be outside of marriage, it may be more than once, it may even be when there's still a 'teen' in their age, so we have to do this early to be sure (and

It's okay...I skimmed to make sure no one said it first, or I would have.

God, I hope they don't jump the shark that soon...

This is your brain.

If you mean 'way safer' than NASA, that may not be asking too much...

Government typically has no competition either...and little probability of going out of business, no matter how bad their performance.

That's a large part of it. And almost the only reason for the Space Launch System (SLS). The launcher was Congress' plan (and a small part of it, at that), not NASA's.

'Subspace' (like space warps) didn't begin with Trek, either. I recall it being the FTL medium back in 'Mangus, Robot Fighter,' which was a few years earlier...

This sort of thing has been proposed for submarine communications, though...

X-Neutrinos...?

Basically...they know which way they came from. These aren't from some off-axis source like the Sun.

X-Neutrinos...?

I'm reminded of the FTL drives in Catherine Asaro's Skolian Empire stories, based on actual peer-reviewed theoretical physics she's worked on:

Talk to Robert Bigelow (Bigelow Aerospace) about that. If your pockets are deep enough, you may work out something...

China's first manned space flight was in 1999. They could've added nothing to ISS access before then. (and they currently fly, what, about once every two years?)

Tell them 'Religion is just a theory.'

Now, would any male superhero with stretching powers ever be tempted to extend their necks a little, and....

I'm reminded of a T-shirt I once saw, being worn by a woman: "The louder the motorcycle, the smaller the penis."
