Should cars respect bike lanes? You bet. Is it a horrific tragedy any time a cyclist is killed? Absolutely. But should cyclists obey traffic laws? That'd be nice, too.

How long before some hipster craft brewery makes a limited edition IPA called “Julius Randle with Hops”?

Warriors Revolution: What if we play basketball based on absurd 3-point shooting and spacing, creating openings with swift ball movement and requiring defenses to guard shots previously thought impossible? We’ll play with a small, quick lineup, that will outpace slower, larger players, making them either lose on

you knew they were gonna run into bookkeeping issues seeing as how Pelinka’s never really been around a ledger before

To be fair, Fuck is an adverb in Canada.

Gardner Reaps What He Sows

My friend and I were talking about this, and we get a certain 04 Pistons vibe out of this series, with how the central division team is tearing apart the heretofore invincible California team that wears yellow/gold and is having a lot of crap going on outside of the gym, and would have already won the series if not

AND I’D SURELY STAND UP! NEXT TO YOU AND SAVE ON MY NEXT RENTAL.

It isn’t that hard. But it becomes almost untenable when you instantly characterize someone with a differing opinion as someone who “has never cared about women’s athletics” “Just hates fags” “clutches their bibles” etc. etc.

I’m all for sticking it to hypocritical conservatives, and I’m all for leaving people the hell alone and letting them be whomever they feel they are. However, this relatively new dynamic of trans-women competing in women’s sports is pretty much the greyest of grey areas.

I just can’t agree with this part:

That feeling where you read an article and find you have views that are quite different than the author, but in no way are they close to the views the author has characterized as the opposing view...

I spent 30 minutes in line at a street festival in 70 degree weather to pay $8 for an award winning tamale yesterday and got a little sunburned, so I know how they feel.

As a Denver fan it sucks to look ahead to this. All the joy I feel in maybe getting to the Western Finals to get fed to this fucking buzzsaw...

I appreciate pointing out the hypocrisy at play here, but this is a flavor of hot take I’m really fucking tired of. Can a tragedy just be a tragedy? Do we always have to justify our emotional responses to stuff like this by comparing it to other tragedies or excuse it by giving some explicit personal or familial

“Moore finally got on the scoreboard by winning that game after two deuces.”

Bledsoe caught the ball, he should not have been removed from the game.

Don’t these people know better than to get on a bus with Keanu Reeves?

+1 cold morning

Come on now, Houston. Don’t you wish you had another ring? I know I do.
