It’s not enough to be the most stacked team in history. They also have to get all the calls from the refs, despite the fact that someone like Green deserves absolutely no benefit of the doubt in a situation like that (had Collins been running any faster Draymond’s elbow would’ve nailed him smack in the jaw, btw). It’s

Nevermind that if anything “puts a damper” on the Olympics it will be the moronic decision to hold the Games during the peak of the Japanese summer. They’ll be lucky if some of the athletes aren’t hospitalized with heat stroke. A poorly handled situation all around.

The reason a lot of other players probably don’t say anything to asshole fans is because they don’t want to get fined $25,000. And my argument is, why does the league punish the players and not the fans? Wouldn’t make sense in any other industry.

You mean to tell me the Trump administration might be lying through its teeth about the state of the economy? Get outta here!

Hooters comes to mind.

It’s a two-way street. Obviously their salaries are paid with ticket revenue, but the fans wouldn’t come to watch if it weren’t for the athletes. And there are far fewer professional athletes than there are fans, so why would the league care about protecting a few obnoxious fans?

Right, but we can reasonably assume that what they’re saying is rude enough for him to tell them to fuck off.

Uhhh....except that in this analogy a) my salary is ten times what the customer pays for his seats and b) if it weren’t for me, the customers wouldn’t have any reason to show up in the first place. So I still can’t rationalize why the boss would side with the customer.

Imagine you were a waiter and every time you passed by a table (even if it wasn’t your table), the customers told you how shitty your restaurant was and that you sucked at your job. Now imagine that, instead of kicking those assholes out of the restaurant, your boss fired you. This wouldn’t make sense in any other

My Blazers did what they do best last night: provide a canvas for the league’s best players to showcase their talent! TWO triple doubles? Hoo boy!

He’s by no means a great defender yet, but I think it’s fair to say he’s taking extra steps to get there.

You’re so dumb I can only conclude you must be a Warriors fan.

I’m not saying the Cavs were better, but the teams were obviously close enough in talent for the Cavs to win. Since adding Durant, there is no other team that even comes close. Thus, no competitive balance. Why is this so hard to wrap your brain around?

The fact that they ended losing was actually proof that there was still some semblance of competitive balance in the league. Since adding Durant, that has completely disappeared. 32-5 in the playoffs is a FACT. You’re speaking the language of wishes and prayers.

That was before Durant. With Durant they are 32-5 in the playoffs. Stop it with Warriors-blew-a-three-one-lead narrative. It’s bullshit and you know it.

No, actually, every trade these days is about the Warriors, and how to possibly beat them. But unless Davis ends up on a team with at least two other perennial All-Stars, it seems a moot point.

There are too many damn teams in the league. I say they combine them into one team called the Los Orleans Pelakens. Problem solved.

The even grosser, more depressing subtext to all of these shenanigans is that the Warriors, by virtue of constructing an unprecedented, virtually indestructible roster, have now made it such that every major team in the league will not and cannot be satisfied with anything less than a super team stacked with 3 or 4

Until he’s back in full form, expect a slow Mo Bamba.

Fitting that a guy who is attempting to deform the political body has a name that rhymes with a disease that deforms the human body. Too bad there’s no vaccine against racist billionaires.
