The vacant lots east and west were employee parking. There was also a few support buildings in the southern part of the west lot, like a car wash and a fueling station. This image does not include the (former) shop space to the north of the building, where were test labs and prototype vehicle shops in its later days.

What sucks is that so many formerly wonderful buildings like these meet their demise because people decide to go in and vandalize the shit out of them. I’ve watched so many urban exploration videos where some building has been abandoned for maybe only a year or so and is already utterly trashed.

 Its a real shame.

Given all the other irrational vehicle choices you make (really, give up a GX470 to winter drive a 55 year old Valiant!), it seems you at least have the rational to let go. This is something I have struggled with for all my vehicles, except the 91 Talon I never could get to run. Like you, once they’re gone, it’s not

He wants to cosplay as a humble man-o’-the-people so that when he has to pay taxes on the stock he’s forced to sell, dudes making $35000/year dumping their extra money in Dogecoin will defend him on twitter.

My in-laws don’t own a home, in fact they don’t even own a car nor an RV. They do, however own an LLC that owns several cars, an RV and a home that they happen to live in. So yeah I take that whole “Rich Guy doesn’t even own a home” schtick with a big grain of salt. Also “Warren Buffet still lives in the home he grew

Dude.  You’re blowing my mind with this reality-warping option.

If they are unwilling to do that they could potentially give him a car worth $10,000 and it would also be satisfactory. Perhaps a certain 2016 Mazda CX-5.

And while the dealer is trying to make it right for Fredricks, he’s still out of $10,000 and a car.

Panameras have weird styling. When you look at a photo of a Panamera, it’s pretty damn ugly. But when I’ve seen them in person, with one exception, I was all “Why Miss Haversham, you look so... different without your glasses!” The exception had random plastic spoilers & vents all over the place and rubber-band tires

THIS !

The drivers seat in one of these feel like piloting a space fighter. I love it.

I’d try to find a Lexus IS-F. High revving NA V8 goodness.

I love the CTS-V recc. What a fantastic car, and very unique.

Finnish army got these as free extra when we bought something else from russia. They were paratrooper versions so the engine block didn’t have even oil bung. Apparently they were meant to be used until gas run out or operation was done and abandoned :O. But our guys added bungs and they’ve worked just fine as light

How does that property compare to a $60k Tesla?

I saw these at the LA Auto Show. The build quality is laughably awful.

He’s replacing a 2003 lightning which is made of bendy straws and hope. A aluminum F150 on summer tires will feel like a race car in comparison.

Surely there must have been SOME other time.

Not even the time I recommended dyeing clothes in oil?

F-150 with auto 4wd and some good summer tires. Full honk 3.5L from the Ford GT is also available on high trims, but you might prefer normal 3.5L ecoboost and lighter wieght in a no frills Lariat.

God they do look good though
