Are you going to tell us that Trump isn’t actually a billionaire next?!

The cabbies have been absolutely decimated here in Chicago, mostly due to personal investments in rideshare companies owned by the family of Rahm Emmanuel that did NOTHING to protect the industry, and has been further weakened by Lightfoot. It’s a damn shame, and the Uber/Lyft drivers charge inflated prices but only

This is true. I love the true believers, though I refuse to be one. May those sadists keep doing what they do to keep these unsalvageable cars on the road, and enjoy them to their fullest the three weeks a year they run properly.

I love the fact that this car exists, just like I want to applaud and shake the hand of every (few) Alfa-Romeo buyers that I see on the streets of Chicago. Society needs these people to keep these cars around and on the roads.

This is the most important insight we could have asked for, right here.

Never, ever buy someone else’s project car.  That is all.

My step-grandmother had a v-6 Camry back in the mid 90's, and it blew my mind as to how quick it was back when I was 16.  Still like the Camrys, especially the new ones with the body kits.  Don’t drive one, but always notice them.

That VW is a deathtrap, and the Lincoln is pure, understated class, and he’s much more likely to get a girl into the back seat of that one than anything else.  Not that it matters, but it does.

That’s an excellent point.  $30 million in marketing dollars helps to confirm that theory, too.

2 door, full-size Bronco is the only way to fly, and while I’d love for it to have a v-8, I’m sure the turbo 6 will be just fine.

Wait, wait, wait....I want to know who did the “repair work” on this hand-built vehicle, and where in Jersey it was performed.

Meh - close enough to NYC to score a “deal” on this one, with enough grey area for everyone to go home happy.

Those are real men, that didn’t give a care in the world about how they looked in that car, and I respect the hell out of that.  Bet they had fun, too.

I’ll be damned.  These were all reasonable suggestions.

I’ve used mid-grade in my ‘96 LS400 (Lexus) for the last 11 years, and its been the perfect balance for the machine.

That Lexus seems to have paid off in (very comfortable and reliable) spades, I see.

AMG G-Wagon is the way.

agreed, but he’s going to lose out on the trade, especially mileage-wise.  Keep the SS.

Value Plus Mufflers on Western Ave.  Helps to know a little Spanish, and the shop is nothing to look at, but I’ve gone there for years.  Last experience was last month when Lexus wanted over $2200 to replace a portion of y-pipe, (kept triggering my O2 sensor, I said no way in hell am I paying for that) - an hour

Congrats on the new gig, man.  That’s a nice gift to yourself, and all things considered, a relatively conservative choice, especially compared to buying a car as a reward for getting a new role, which I did. (Reasonable, of course.)
