Thanks for the advice. Today I went and bought and new slim model. I cringed a little while forking over the money- and will not being eating out at all the next two months- but it was well worth it. It is very nice to not have it sound like the vacuum cleaner is on every time I play a game! Is it bad that I had 360…
I make cheap stir-fry with ramen. Add beef or pork, veggies, and a sauce of your choice. It is tasty.
Last night my '05 360 died. The price to fix it just isn't worth it to me on the age of the machine. So I'm off to buy a new one. The big question is new or used? New model or old model? Decisions! Anyone have opinions?
It started that way for me, but as we (myself and my group of guys friends) got older it began changing. Once one showed an interest in me they all went a little crazy. It put a strain on our relationships as friends for awhile. We eventually got past it though and are all BFFs again.
I wish cat farts were as funny as dog farts. Every time my cat farts my husband and I just leave the room gasping for air!
I’ve yet to play a game with user generated DLC or online interactions that doesn’t come with a not responsible clause. I haven’t played a Sims game since the first one, but I believe it is a fairly standard thing.
So true! Trying to peel off a wet one piece is like pulling off a layer of skin.
This is very true. I have a degree in something completely random and unrelated to the job I currently have. I have this job because I have a degree, they didn’t care what it was in, and gave a good interview (which is something I learned in a college course).
Same here. There was a lice problem at the school and day care I went to as a child. My mother tired treating it with everything possible, from store bought treatments to this nasty egg, vinegar, mayo concoction some old lady at church told her about. I was scratching my head to the point of bleeding. So my mother…
My husband complained the one time I did more then a little trimming- not rudely or anything. He says he likes it hairy and thinks it is cute. Works for me, makes life easier!
What really scares me is those who might not only take their own lives, but also their childrens lives.
I have also had multiple MRI’s/MRA’s- my most recent were two in April.
I’m from Northwest Arkansas and am currently transplanted to Central Texas. Most areas only get directly hit on a huge scale once a life time. In 1992 my home town had a tornado come through and destroy quite a bit of the town. Some people left, most stayed. There is a good school district, people have jobs and…
It depends on the doctor. When I have them done now, it’s nothing- a little discomfort but not pain.
I do not think they should turn away women for checkups, that disgusts me. But I can understand turning away women that would be considered a "high risk" pregnancy. I have health conditions that would place me as a "high risk" patient if I ever decide to have a kid. For my own health I would go to a doctor who is…
I could really care less which direction it goes. My husband has to have over though. Not that it matters in our household since the TP is kept in a bucket hanging above the toilet to prevent one cat from destroying it and the other cat from following behind him and eating the small pieces.
You basically summed up the Lords of Avalon series by Kinley Macgregor.
Not being a doctor I don't know the science behind it. I do remember they all had to go through a dosage pack of medicine over a course of months. The players not showing immediate signs of infection were watched for development of it- for all I know they are still told to watch themselves.
This was on Consumerist this morning- so I'm copy/pasting my story here too!
