i thought it was absolutely fantastic. so much going on. way more than just a cat fight between 2 legends. misogyny, sexism, ageism, etc..it was very touching, very sad and very timely. and it looked so beautiful.
sort of related, but not really but kinda - why isn’t Jezebel talking about Feud?? the show was fantastic and touched on so many feminist issues. There was talk about it before it started, but nothing since. i am genuinely confused by this.
i think the rule of thumb should be - if the person is a complete dickbag, you can make fun of their appearance as well as their dickbaggery. otherwise, looks should be off the table.
